PSALMS – MY FOUR FRIENDS

Biblical stories from the Old Testament unfold not only historical highlights and pivotal religious moments, but also the subtle, timeless tales of love and friendship. I’ve found solace and understanding in the graceful, poetic words of Psalms, and could identify many verses to with my closest, most beloved friends. In the nature of emotions, free of limitations of time and space, so are the prints: they can be set and viewed in all 4 directions.
In “Psalms – My Four Friends” I’ve created an edition of 50 prints (+ 10 artist proofs). The etchings are printed on arches paper, with mixed inks. Each etching is individually hand colored with inks and acrylic copper, gold, silver and turquoise.

The prints are composed so that they could be hung in any direction. Therefore, the signature, number and dates are on the four edges.
